How many feet of trunk are there on that beauty Moose?  One of my favorite pinnate palms. :drool:

Formerly in Gilbert AZ, zone 9a/9b. Now in Palmetto, Florida Zone 9b/10a??

Mine, at over 12 years old and big and beautiful, has never flowered.

Mine is at 14 years in the ground. It had to grow through the surrounding foilage. It probably started flowering three years ago. I couldn't touch the bracts then without a ladder.

I've seen them produce fruits in other gardens with less stature. Guess they start flowering when they feel like it.

The peacocks seem to relish the falling seed
