My big regret is that I planted a Tahina spectabilis right beside it.  They both looked so cute in their 1 gallon pots years ago

I have two Attalea Cohunes in the ground, about 3' tall and 6' tall.  I've also got another Cohune in a 3g pot and a pair of Attalea Phalerata in quart pots.  I'm hoping they'll be glorious monsters like yours some day!  About how many years are those from a 1 gallon?

I probably put this one in the ground in 2007 or 2008

That's actually a lot faster than I thought!  12-13 years from a 1 gallon to having a few feet of trunk is pretty fast, given Attalea's reputation for being really slow.  Thanks for posting the pics!  :D
