Bismark Seeds

I picked these up today under one of my large Bismarck’s.  I’m not a grower so these are free to anyone who wants them.  Just PM me.

Those look tiny.  I think only the large ones will be viable.

I thought the same thing as the tree is massive that they are coming from.  I have no experience on growing though.  Thanks for commenting.

Yep, sure!  Viable Bismarck seeds are very large, so perhaps just send those out.

Another consideration is that Bismarckia are dioecious palms so you need a male as well as your female to get viable seed.  Sounds like you have at least two palms but are they both female?  If one of your neighbors has a male then your chances are better.

Unfortunately,none of those were pollinated and are not viable.A mature seed measures about 1X2 inches as shown in pic,compared to unpollinated examples above it.
