Brahea calcarea (nitida) first flowering at the age of about 30 years; time interval elapsed from the emission of the inflorescence to the antesis of the flowers 14 months.

I guess my 3' tall Brahea calcarea has a ways to go before flowering!!

Mine’s 28 years old. Good to know about when to expect first flowering. Pietro, your photos are fantastic!
