w. Filifera in zone 8

These palms are 10 years old now, with the current image in the lower right corner. They have gone through a winter with a low of 11F and a summer with 70 days above 100F. Unprotected, not irrigated, no fertilizer. Texas tough.

Wow, I got a small one from TCHP 2 years ago and it's starting to take off! Hope it will look like these in a few years. I do water and fertilize them (a bit). Amazing how they can get trunks that large without any irrigation here in Texas!

They were seedlings with their first adult leaves. Less than 1 year old.
