Pseudophoenix vinifera immedtating Mother Nature

This year a number of seedlings from last years crop of fruit/seeds poped up under my P. vinifera.  So I decided to be lazy and try to immetate nature.  I took a pot of potting soil, topping it off with a layer of flower litter from this and last years crop.  Placed about 8 fruit, nice and red on top and then covered them with about 1 1/2 inches of more litter.  This went into my shade house and will see what happens.  LOL
