Hello: We live in Southwest Florida and have African Tulip trees. We had some limbs that needed to be trimmed but the tree guy topped off all the African tulip trees leaving bare trunks. Is it best just to remove the trees now? Will they ever bloom again? Will the offshoots survive strong winds?

@gnjswfla Welcome to the forum..

The basic answer is they should re-sprout quite vigorously and will bloom again.. though perhaps not this season. That said,  it might help to post a picture or two to get a better idea of just how much was removed / gauge how large the trees were, etc..  Curious why the person pruning decided to cut way more than " just a few limbs "    I'd be furious, lol.
