Livistonia is dying

HC66

Recommended Posts

My Livistonia Rotundifolia seems to be dying very quickly, at first it was just one or two leaves which turned brown now all of them are, it starts at the tips and is spreading really quickly, at this rate I will not have a plant by the end of the week. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

HC

Welcome. For anyone to help you we need the following:

1. Photos of the palm in question, including the whole palm and closeups of its problem.

2. What kind of medium is in the pot.

3. Where in the world are you - country and city. In these times no one here plans to drop in.

Hi HC welcome to the forum, yes as Meg said we need more info to help you. There are a few variables involved. Usually too much or too little water, direct sunlight, fertilizer or inappropriate potting mix bugs or disease. Some pics and history might help, even then we are often guessing so the more info that we have the better.

Cheers Steve

It is not dead, it is just senescence.
