Ton of fires throughout Tijuana,MX

There are fires 2 miles to my east and another 2 miles to my south.

(Among several others).

We're at 100F due to the flames.

Here's hoping they can put them out in time.

I've been through a lot of bushfires here in Oz, never a good thing. Good luck mate.

I had a slight brush with fires myself back in May. Hope they get those fires out there!

Similar to JLM, we also had a pretty bad wildfire back in late May. It burned for 3 days and was only 4 miles away from my house at one point, but I never saw any smoke here. Devastated a nearby nature reserve though.

I hope they got those fires under control for you Alex, before they did too much damage. It's almost always some careless idiot with a BBQ, or campfire, or someone flicking a cigarette. Doubt there's much lightening around SoCal this time of year.

@UK_Palms

Sometimes they have dry thunderstorms where the rain doesnt make it to the ground. But of course the lightning does.

That's how most of our bushfires start.
