Nice Dave, not to user friendly that Aiephanes,  I got a vine climbing up my PIggy, not too keen

on taking it off.

That Pritchardia any idea where it came from or what it might be. I think P. lanaiensis was

grouped into another specie by Don Hodel, canʻt remember if it was P. glabrata native to  Lanai or not. or there

was a mystery Pritchardia in the town square of Lanai city, which I think was brought over from some collections.

P. laiensis was renamed a while back, and everyone covets that thing. It's my favorite big Pritchie. Love the flaring straight trunk (need a pic to show that)  and that big, fat crown of leaves. My specimen keeps trying but failing to set viable seed. I can't for the life of me recall where I got it; if I could, I go back and try to get more.

Trachycarpus fortunei

20200605_132015.thumb.jpg.39969b0b9e6128af1080660f0c449655.jpg    It was moved here and sulked for about 5 years.

Cocothrinax inaguensis

20200605_132051.thumb.jpg.b3b5cbdee82e01e1766694009d0430fb.jpg     Quite undemanding, i.e.  It receives no care at all.

Chamaedorea plumosa

Dypsis rosea

20200605_135653.thumb.jpg.718f7d1e4e8f36c5aba6b412e0261423.jpg  Like Dypsis scottiana it is very skinny and needs to be planted in a group.

These Clinostigma samoense, in my opinion, were the most beautiful palm trunks I have ever seen. Unfortunately, they are long gone due to crown rot and the possibility of damage to

a neighbors property during hurricane season. I've got a couple more though, so all is good.
