Are these Elaeis guineensis (African oil palm) Seeds

I found the pictured seeds in the mulch on one of our walking paths. They are definitely cocoid seeds as you can tell by the three "eyes" on the closeup seed. Then my husband dug up a newly germinated seedling with the same seed attached. I believe they came from my oldest Elaeis guineensis/African Oil Palm. I thought oil palm seeds were larger than 1" x1" so can anyone confirm that's what these seeds came from?

Also, is anyone interested in fresh seeds? I know African oils get a bad rap but it has neat "Jurassic Park" look if you have room for it.

Yes, those are Elaeis guineensis seeds. They're not particularly large, much smaller than Foxtails, something like the size of Carpies with fresh fruit still around them.
