My Bottle Palm has finally produced good seeds after at least 10yrs of blooming and dropping. Sorry, but i cant rule out Bottle/spindle hybrids since my Spindle Palm blooms and seeds constantly. It is only about 25-30 ft away. If anyone wants any - $6.50/50 seeds Or $10/100 seeds. plus Shipping(zoned based) seeds are large! Will weigh and give estimate. Will probably have to clean because of size. Seeds are ripening quickly, but will need a week or so before all are ready, then time to clean. Just wanna see if there’s any interest. Note Spindle and Bottle proxmity in 2nd pic.
So I have not seen much about the other bottle palm, the Gaussia princeps. Mine has been growing for close to 3 years, and is slow but consistent with only a couple of new fronds per year. I know they like heat, which is why I planted mine in front of a west facing wall, so it would get both the afternoon sun and the reflected heat of the afternoon sun. I have sandy well drained soil, which they also appreciate. If you are growing this palm, please share your photos and growth experience.
To share them as babies and get comments / questions, if any... Thank you
Caryota maxima "himalaya"

The first on appeared about 6 months ago & is the bigger one in the picture it now seems to have 3. Is this normal for a Bottle Palm? How long does take to actually bloom. This Palm was planted in 2006 on Green Turtle Cay in the Bahamas. I haven't seen it since Jun, but a friend sent me the photo & I'll be seeing it in person next week. Thanks in advance!
