Windmill Palm frond looking rough

Hey guys, I was wondering what is going on with my windmill palm?, There are three fronds that look like this the other two are not as bad.. Thanks a lot guys

The yellow spots are caused by the spider mite attack. That is unavoidable if you keep a palm indoors or in a greenhouse in winter.  I don´t spray such leaves with pestocides. I usually cut the ugliest ones off to prevent the spread of the buggers but I always keep at least 3 fronds on a palm so as not to weaken it too much.  Outdoors spidermite infestation on a  Trachy should die down by itself. The palm can recover on its own.  Looking at the thickness of the palm stem  I guess  it has been put in that pot recently.  The pot looks a bit too big at this stage but if you allow the soil to dry up a bit between waterings, it should be fine.  Just don´t overwater the palm or the brown tips on leaves will grow larger. That is always a sign you should go easy on water.  In prolonged rainy weather you could move the palm under the eaves of the house. Don´t forget to fertilise regularly in summer especially if you decide to cut the fronds off.

On Trachy and many palms if the older fronds are the only ones looking bad it's generally not a issue.  You want to make sure the spear is intact and healthy and the newest few fronds look ok.  Wait till that frond turns black and prune.  Fertilize with osmocote outdoor or similar.

also that’s a huge pot for that little guy and I have found trachys root rot easily in pots if I showed you how big my pots are for my trachys you would be blown away

The tree cam in a three gallon, and they guy told me it needed to be repotted and that is a 5 gallon..
