Hello there,

went today for a short stroll with the kids to our botanical garden...

... always enjoying the moment when passing this beautiful Satakentia, ...

... and being every time fascinated by all those crotons around there, too.

While already on the way out we were greeted by a senior staff I recognized as the grandpa of  a

friend of my eldest daughter when she went to the kinder garden. We had some small talk and finally

I pointed to a still potted palm intending to say something about re-potting or planting out but before

I could say something he just said:"Take it with you, I would be glad if someone takes care of it..."

After making sure that he was (really) serious I took it thankfully and promised him to do my best...

Here we go:

Under potted but very healthy looking - a nice Hyophorbe lagenicaulis...

After carrying it home...

... I am soon going to find a nice spot for it in my garden where it can finally take off.

Promising - a new leaf already on the way...

Thank you for your time -

best regards

Lars
