Growing up here in New Mexico; for the longest time.. even up to a few years ago.. I thought these were Joshua trees.  That's what I always thought they were. I met a landscaper that mentioned these are not Joshua trees.. but a Joshua tree type from the Chihuahuan desert in Mexico. I'm not sure I heard its name. But I cant seem to find it anywhere online. Does anyone know for certain?

While it resembles a Joshua tree.. I can see the differences now.. it seems to grow much larger.

Maybe Yucca filifera, or decipiens? Nice specimens regardless..

Perhaps decipiens? maybe they are joshua trees.....  confusing though as some have green leaves and others have blue...

All the pictures you posted are Joshua trees (Yucca brevifolia). The landscaper is wrong. He may have gotten confused with the common name Mexican Joshua tree (Yucca filifera).
