Hey everyone. Follow me and I spend the week in ocho Rios Jamaica. Out my door so far are Ptychosperma elegans Adonidia Merrillii cocos nucifera and dypsis lutescens. The road coming into the resort is lined with Phoenix roebellini

I plan on do some seed hunting shortly

Ptychosperma elegans in seed here. Plan on grabbing some shortly. This resort and lobby is right in the ocean which is amazing. Palm selection seems to be limited for here. But most of the palms are ok good health except for the recently planted coconuts

Nice place. I see Roystoneas, too. A cruise I was on once stopped at Jamaica. All I saw at the port were Washingtonias. Waste of space and a total downer. Good luck seed hunting. Be very careful if you step off the resort.

Meg

Palms of Victory I shall wear

Cape Coral (It's Just Paradise)
Florida
Zone 10A on the Isabelle Canal
Elevation: 15 feet

I'd like to be under the sea in an octopus' garden in the shade.

Yeah some washys near Montego Bay. The resorts are very palmy but Jamaica itself I find isn’t. Just usually along the main highways. Still a beautiful island my fav!
