Chamaedorea hybridization

Does anyone known if Chamaedorea radicalis and microspadix will hybridize?

i have about 10 microspadix clumps already in the ground and will be planting out a large number of @DoomsDave radicalis that are ready to go in the ground this year.

As both spp Ch microspadix and Ch radicalis belong to the same subgenus Moreniella I guess hybridization might be successful.

I'm staying tuned for this one, particularly to learn what the hybrid looks like and its growth habits.

I have both growing within feet of each other, both species flower & fruit all year. I'll have to keep a eye out with the seedlings.

@Chester B I have some radicalis I got from @Laaz that are also going in the ground this spring amongst existing microspadix. Maybe between the 3 of us we'll see some hybrid prospects.
