Dave, great view! Love the Archy trunks especially. Here’s a look through my front door windows and a couple of shots from front porch at different times of day.

Jim, what is that gorgeous, reddish plant by your walkway? Is it begonia?

@Josue Diaz you won’t have to wait long for a palmy view like mine. Another few years and the transition will be stunning !

This post is an inspiration! My wife and I are so envious of everyone's palms! Our garden was a literal dirt patch as recently as last November, so we've got a ways to go. Right now we only have a small bottle palm, areca palm, and two different kinds of fishtail palms. We also snagged some seeds from a neighbor's mystery palm which we are now germinating. We live in the Philippines so hopefully we'll have a view worthy of posting here sooner rather than later. After seeing these posts I think we will look for more palms to cram into our garden.

Came across this on my stroll this morning. Not out my front door but so cool I had to share it. Calyptrocalyx albertisianus, the most brilliant red leaf of all my red leaf species and this one seemed a bit more stunning than usual.

Josue, It’s Iresine herbisii, Bloodleaf plant. It needs constant moisture. Some I have in the ground, some I have growing right in water elements.

We have only a front yard and our garden was a barren dirt patch only 4 months ago. Here it is now. We park our car in the big empty space, but left it outside the gate for the photos and while we planted our new manila palms. Our palms are: 7 manila palms (3 are planted as a single group), 1 bottle palm, 1 areca palm, 1 single trunk fishtail palm, and 1 clumping fishtail palm. I can't wait for rainy season!!!
