Mahalo Olivier! Wonderful photography, as usual. I never realized how tall Phoenicophorium grew and looking up, the similarities to Verschaffeltia. I have both in the garden and the Verschaffeltia is so much faster growing. Your photos really made the connection between the two which, had always been right in front of me.

Amazing!  Excellent photos from one of my favorite places on earth. Looking through these brought back some great memories of my 2 trips there. Such a magical place.
