About a week ago I posted a freebie for this coconut that had been grown indoors for TWENTY YEARS in a pot in a tiny thumbnail apartment.

Below is a picture of it after I unloaded it with shaking hands and set in my parking area.

I felt a bit like Prince Charming who’d run across Sleeping Beauty except this beauty was wide awake and needed more heat than my renovating house could easily provide. 
 

And I didn’t have much more vertical space anyway.

So one of our enthusiastic (rabid!) palm talkers came and got it the very next day to the relief of the donor and me.

So maybe our recipient will out themself and show some pictures?

Did the original owner mention what variety it is?  Seems like a true dwarf. Based on it being 20 years indoors.

It has a beautiful curve.

Thanks to all for the accolades. Glad to do a good turn.

I gave the donor some Chamadorea radicalis seeds.

He also had a way WAY overgrown Roystonea regia that Mr. Quinn took too.

I'd have planted that regia, except I already have three, plus two oleraceas, plus two borenquenias PLUS a princeps. I'm a bit 'Stonea-ed out . . . .
