thanks guys, look what there is underneath the robelinii fronds, what do you think it is, what i should do?

i tried to spray some neem oil, well diluted in water.

but nobody can tell me whats going on with the pygmy date palm. i saw similar problem described as scales, its on top and bottom of the fronds, i sporayed some neem oil but i wander what else i could do. I got that product to treat the canariensis red weevil and fungus etc maybe i could use it lightly as foliar too.

I am looking at which palms flower quickly to produce some cross, i saw the butias flower quick as the syagrus, i found 2 sites with lot of palm hybrids cross.

so i will be looking for these quick flowering and really cold hardy palm in priority.

butia capitata, syagrus etc...
