Hey guys I am wanting to repot my palm into the same pot. I believe the soil is to compact and she is not getting the oxygen as the leaves are very pale green. I have had it now for about 14 months and in that time she has put out 4 new fronds. Northeast window floor to ceiling so some great morning light. But ya my gut says my first mix was to dense and not enough drainage. Sooo question is can I knock off or gently wash the old dirt around the outside of the root ball to get some new mix among the roots? Suggestions pleeease.  Oh and can’t seem to keep more than 4 healthy fronds at a time. New one spreads out and the 5th one dies off.
Thanks is advance!328F4E3B-984C-4A8E-9CE6-7C2488C9EC2F.thumb.jpeg.7f43e8ae3c9db4466e021dd27e3790c3.jpeg06BC5296-399B-4186-9363-35F8F83F3D23.thumb.jpeg.1b6b5df68ee0cc05f21635a5eb864f05.jpeg
