About three years ago I purchased the above plant for my son. Everything has been fine and then About a month ago the new leaves started coming in cream with a very slight green on the edge.
Has this happened to anyone else’s plant and what causes it. Is there a remedy?

Hi Joyce,

It looks like it needs some more light.
It would probably benefit from being moved close to a window in a warm room.

Hope that helps!

I have had similar problems with Ptychsperma Macarthurii and Teddy Bear seedlings.  I moved them to a drier, sunnier spot in my seedling area, thinking it was an iron deficiency from root rot (soil too wet or mucky).  The Macarthurii recovered color and started growing again, but my Teddy Bears are just sitting light green/white and not moving.  I read that sulfur deficiency can look similar.

Maybe your palm is too wet, make sure the soil dries a bit between waterings and the bottom of the pot isn't sitting in water.  What is your soil mix and watering schedule?
