Wodyetia falls over

Recommended Posts

I noticed my wodyetia fell over a couple of days ago, just got around to checking up on the roots. it looks like about half of the roots tore at the base and the other half are still attached. My mistake was planting it high, to aid in drainage, given our cold, wet winters. I should have mounded at the base as it grew and became top heavy. I think it will survive though, it still looks healthy despite having fallen 2 days ago. I'll be staking it up tonight and mounding around the base.
