Chamaerhops humilis “Cerifera” Quandry.

We are growing several of these blue Mediterranean palms in our garden in Dallas. The individual plants range from a white blue, very grey blue, to a bluish green.

One plant produced leaves that are light blue in color and average about 16 segments attached to a petiole. This type of leave is circled in yellow. This same plant produced leaves where the segments are twice as long and only occur in a group of four segments to a petiole. This leaf is circled in red.

Have you ever seen a Chamaerhops humilis with these types of leaves?

Mine here in Florida is more like the one you circled in yellow.  The leaflets circled in red I haven't noticed before on other plants.

I've grown a few oddballs with elongated newly splitting leaves coming from offshoots.  As they mature and gain more leaflets they should become more proportinate.
