I’m only posting this to give props to this unknown palm grower. In my neck of the woods it is extremely rare to see well grown Majesty palms due to their demanding water and nutrient requirements. Most people neglect them and they end up looking pretty bad. I drive by this house every once in awhile and was sitting at a stop sign and decided to take a picture. I think they look pretty good.

Those look great. Where I am in Rancho Cucamonga the ones that look best get some shade. I have a double and a single I planted as overgrown 3 gallons back in May. They seem to be happy as they are on the east side of my house and are protected from extreme afternoon sun. This should give them a good start for a few years. Eventually once they get tall enough they will be in full afternoon sun and will have to adapt once they get around 15-16 ft tall.

It’s funny you made this shout out thread as I was thinking of doing the same myself. There is someone who lives off 23rd in Upland near my wife’s grandparents that has two large impressive Roystonea Regia that are 20 ft plus and are at 1,800 feet elevation. This owner inspired me to try 2 as if they have been in ground for more than 5 years they have seen snow and high 20s and survived just fine.
