A friend of mine in Anaheim had 15 large rare platycerium's stolen from his nursery recently. If anyone happens to see  someone selling large rare ones, please PM me with the contact information so can check it out.

Thanks

Mike

The picture is an example of a large board mount from his nursery.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your friend.

https://www.etsy.com/listing/707994840/very-large-staghorn-ferns?ref=shop_home_active_1&frs=1 are these your friends' platycerium?

here is another rare one i found for sale near LA https://www.etsy.com/listing/688388446/arborium-asian-staghorn-rare-large-size?ref=shop_home_active_7&frs=1

I'm not accusing anyone, but I recommend watching etsy, surprising number of plant sellers there, staghorns are trending.

good luck!

That’s one advantage to growing exotic plants in Texas, it’s unlikely anyone will steal them. I’m sure it does happen, but our thieves typically aren’t that enlightened.
