West facing. They only get direct sunlight after 2pm for about 3 hours.  No supplemental heat. No eve. Completely exposed.

There's a couple different varieties grown here in S FL.  Been waiting for seed from my next door neighbors that just started flowering. First flower and it's about 15 years old.

Though they're rather slow growing the planter in Alex's pic above is way too small for one, never mind two mature ones.
