Visiting Brisbane for a couple of days and looking for some small palms I can take back to Melbourne with me.

Im looking for:

pritchardia hellibrandii, roystonea Regia and a carpenteria palm.

Any help would be great!

Carpenteria you should be able to find in Bunnings or Big W. The other two might be a bit trickier but try Ben at Tropiscape if you have time.

Hope your Carpy will be in a hothouse..... very 'tropical' in its growth requirements being a Darwin native.

Thanks guys, I’ve spoken to Ben yesterday and unfortunately he doesn’t have any of these ones. I have grown these in Melbourne previously by bringing them indoors against a north facing window over winter. The pritchardia survived outside permanently.

Ill try check out big W, I’ve had no luck at Bunnings so far.
