This is a really nice looking league on my Ravenea rivularis. This palm won't survive the winter here, but I stuck it in the ground (in shade) because it was in one of those pots that have like twenty in them from Lowes and they were all dying.

Before I kept a majesty palm alive using supplemental heating for 2 winters (that I mentioned in another thread), I grew another.  I just piled a large mound of mulch on top of it for winter and removed the mulch during warmer weather.  It survived, but didn't look great. I didn't protect it the following winter.
