Love these videos Rob! I actually found a foxtail covered in seeds for you last weekend but the bloke wanted the seeds to grow himself so wasn't too keen on dragging a ladder out of his shed to climb up and cut off a few seeds. I'll track some down for you though. You should have some seeds turning up in the post any day now, I sent them 2 weeks ago.

Great experiment! What a lovely palm.

You know, it got me thinking, how come your beautiful 9 ft foxtail is in a 15 gal and doing great, while several of my 2 ft alfredii's in 15 gallons have roots protruding from the bottom of the containers?

Must just be the conditions. There are some roots coming out spring goal is to repot into a slightly larger and thicker pot this Palm is doing great and hopefully it does well in this spot
