Patrick 225 Report post Posted September 24, 2019 Anyone interested in a Brachychiton rupestris or two? Ive grown two of these up for several years and I just don't have room for a specimen tree such as these. They're currently in 15 gallon cans and about 10 feet tall overall including the cans. They've been in the 15 gallon cans for probably 3 or 4 years. This would have to be a local pickup only in CA bay area zip code 94561. I'll post up pictures once I get home today (I'm at work now). I first fell in love with these when I saw one at The Bancroft Garden in Walnut Creek. A company in Richmond had these for sale so I bought a couple. They are tolerant trees, I have never treated these special other than occasional water and fertilizer so they would be an easy grow for anyone. I have one that has compact leaves, and one with longer leaves- genetic variances. If interested, just promise me you actually have a spot to plant one of these awesome trees. These guys are old enough- they should have been planted out years ago. In the words of the pet adoption groups, these trees need "a forever home" Thanks.
