Dracaena collection

Recommended Posts

I have a small collection of Dracaena. Interesting how they compare at this size. From Left to right: Serrulata, Cinnabari, Draco.  My dream list of Ombet and Tamaranea  remains. file.php?id=66673Post yours up if you have any.

There's lots of cultivars of Dracaena these days, some can be a bit difficult to tell apart. My place had some already on it when I bought but since then I've got some more.

Dracaena surculosa

Another Dracaena surculosa cultivar called "Milky Way" There are several fairly similar with other names.

Dracaena fragrans has many cultivars with only slight differences.gwn13052379.jpg.f7a43517d08bb64809375e722e437dae.jpg

For me Dracaena fragrans has the best looking inflorescence of all of them.

Dracaena angustifolia, or Pleomele angustifolia. Taxonomists have been playing ping pong with the name of this one for years.

Dracaena reflexa "Song of India". Produces a lot of seeds but the seedlings revert to the green form.

Spotty sickly looking D cantleyi is sadly a bit tropical .

Second image could be a locally made hybrid .

Another unusual Dracaena .

An update. Nothing too exciting yet, but I’m pleased with the germination and growth rate.
