My copernicia fallaense was completely exposed and hammered by IRMA for 5-6 hrs at 65-75mph.  Initially I though the shredding of leaves was the only damage.

Formerly in Gilbert AZ, zone 9a/9b. Now in Palmetto, Florida Zone 9b/10a??

Photos? Maybe its original growing point was damaged by the hurricane so it is sending up a new one. It wants to live.

@moderator could you delete this thread it was an accidental duplicate topic.  Meg, pics are in the other identically named thread.  It  the original growth point has slowed during this time but is still opening leaves, one this week.
