Naturegirl, How much shade do you give your Archontophoenix seedlings? I have some about the size of yours and mine are pale green and have brown spots on the leaves. Not sure if I'm giving them too much sun or not enough or maybe I have a completely different problem. Right now they get about 50/50 sun and shade.

Mine were in the Greenhouse, so, no direct sun at all. I only brought them outside to get a better photo. Mine sprouted in 50/50 peat & perlite. Could it be your potting soil?

Ok. Thanks for the information. There's a good chance that it's my soil. I have been using bagged potting soil from the big box stores which everyone on here says is garbage. There is a nursery near me that sells all of the components to make whatever soil you need. I will go and get some peat and perlite. Thanks again!
