How do you insert text with your photos?

Hi

 

I see many posts with photos and above each one is the text describing what you are looking at. I can't do that, I tried.

My text goes left or right of the pic not above it.

This is how I do it.

Make a separate paragraph where you want to insert the photo. Then click the cursor when at the beginning of that paragraph.

Hover over the photo you wish to insert and click on the "+" The photo should insert where you had your cursor.

Same issue...So here is a test. 
Feb 25th: How it looked after the freeze.  Note damage to spear.  Since that time, this spear has clear the trunk.

April 13th:  New small spear had been trying to emerge but was brown.  Noticed that it was not growing.  The spear would not pull.  Was able to jiggle the growth to the side of the palm, where I could see rot from where it was emerging from the trunk.  I removed what I could with a razor blade.   (The fronds on this are about 3 feet and what I removed was only 16 inches)

The spear remains inside the palm, however from what I can see, when I jiggle the other petioles, it is a mix of green, rot and brown. 
The emerged green frond  is the growth of the February damaged spear.  Altogether, palm has about 15 inches of growth since the freeze.
