Hello all. I just want to share a few pics from a trip I just returned from a couple weeks ago. The palms are not rare for those of you who live in tropical areas, but they are not palms I get to see on a regular basis where I live.

First up was Barbados. Our tour guide wanted to take us up to this lookout point (I forget the name). I could tell just looking out the windshield I was going to like this place. It is not a palm garden or anything but it sure got my juices flowing.

Couldn’t resist the selfie with the wife with kids and palms in background. I like vet their rock weather station in last photo.

Next stop was Martinique. This tour guide took us up to a rain forest to start. Not too many palms up there but endless ferns and bamboo along with Mahogany trees.

Then off to the prettiest rum distillery I’ve ever been too (my only one as well). I certainly loved the landscaping.

St. Kitts.....Again, went to the rain forest part of the island. The view out the window gives a good idea of the jungle feel.

This part of the rain forest has a botanical garden within. The windows without rain were very short making a lot of photography difficult for this amateur.

Thanks for letting me share. I had so many missed opportunities to snap so many more palm photos, but at least I got some.

i included the last picture just cause I think it’s pretty cool. The Atlantic Ocean on the left. The Caribbean Sea on right.
