Has two things I try to avoid in my mix - heavy amounts of coir and/or peat moss. Why? I like seeing roots like this :)

In pots for my self I stay away from anything peat based. Lost too many palms to soggy soil. A fluffy mix of coco and perlite works very well

Didn’t cost me much...Got it from a defunct marijuana grower.  Maybe it will be good for seed germination
