It's being sold as a sotol

I came across this one which is for sale at $150. They say that it is a Sotol which to my mind translates to Dasylirion.

Quite frankly, I don't believe that this is a dasylirion... Any one care to set me straight please?

Pretty sure that it’s a Beaucarnea Stricta. It is a relative of the ponytail palm. The Stricta is blue and has stiffer leaves. Looking at the size of your plant it looks like you got a pretty good deal too. They are pricey and not all that common. Here is a picture of mine. I wish I had more. Great find

I'm in total agreement and would have been upset if it had really turned out to be a Sotol. I was banking on beaucarnea.
