Very nice!  Started a few seedlings that can go in the back under canopy in a few years.  Hopefully they will perform this well.

So I'm curious how big it is overall and how many rings of exposed trunk before it is pushing out an inflorescence.  Can you post a photo of the full palm and one of the ringed trunk? I want to compare what size yours is at achieving this milestone to get a better sense when mine might.  Danke, Gracias, Merci and Thank You in advance.

Mine has been flowering for the past five years or so. No seeds are ever produced. I wonder if I don’t have the right pollinators?

El Oasis - beach garden, distinct wet/dry season ,year round 20-38c

Las Heliconias - jungle garden ,800m elevation,150+ inches rainfall, year round 15-28c

Here in Vista CA after a tough Winter I thought mine was throwing a new leaf at first but.....    Interesting to note one weeks growth as I marked the spear last Sunday on the Autum Equinox.

Wait, is that a pineapple?

You're growing pineapples in the open?

Aren't those uber tropical?

I started with two pineapple from the market 10 years ago. Cut the tops off, put in ground and now I have many.  Takes about two years for them to ripen once fruiting. Much smaller than the ones in the supermarkets. no special care, accept maybe more water than an ordinary bromeliads and as much sun as possible.

I knew about the tops, etc

But I always thought they couldn't be grown here (exposed anyway). Very nice.

Didn't mean to derail this thread.
