Zamia splendens

I noticed this Z. splendens seemed to have more new pink leaves than usual. When I looked at its trunk, it has 3 small suckers coming off main caudex .

Am awaiting a cone full of seeds to mature on 1 of mine .

Real faVOURITE SP.  and reminds me of source Mikey Edwards .

He is no longer with us , but many of his plants are .

The big 3 headed plant is awesome and shows how they can clump up.

My plant is from this batch of seedlings 9 years ago.

Super nice! Haven’t been able to pollinate mine since 2016. Hurricane Matthew, or Irma, can’t remember which killed one of my 2 mature males. So now I only have one and couldn’t pollinate.This year I was able to save some pollen for when female was ready. Hopefully I was successful.
