Gardenia jasminoides 'Aimee" (Grafted onto G. thunbergia) into a tree.  One of the largest flowers and very fragrant. 

Nematode resistance. Tolerates poorer soil and able to take up more soil nutrients.  Winner in 8b to 11b.

LOL! Someday that might be possible.  The fragrance is pretty intoxicating I highly recommend this one since it grows as a small tree.

Yeah, I've got a soft spot in my heart (you never heard me say that!) for all Gardenias. Their "bouquet" s unrivaled IMO.
