You can always go to banana.org and check there.  Honestly though, I would buy the 6 inchers.  They grow soooooo fast.  They will be huge in no time.

Most of these 6inchers turnes to be Namwah later. Finding real blue Java isn't always easy task.

Sorry, bananas.org.  With an 's'.

Dumb autocorrect.

My blue Java is a pup from my old house, I planted as a 6 in pup in the winter, it’s now over 10 feet tall, 8”+ trunk with 3 foot pups.  Aid you want one, you can come dig one up.

I picked up one from Wellspring Gardens last fall and planted it before winter.  It was one of the 6" plants and grew to about 2' over the winter.  This spring it shot up to 12' and grew 4 offsets, all of which are now at least 4' tall.  I'd get several little ones, they are absurdly fast growers, 3x the speed of any of my other bananas.

If you are still looking, I can dig some out for you. I just took a 15 foot sucker off, for my parents. I have more very large suckers3FEB0925-9624-4150-9EC0-57E7B088F5E2.thumb.jpeg.2cabb275fa2794b9567c2f47f7d260f2.jpeg that can come off, or you can start with the smaller guys I got here. In a week or two they will be 4 feet if I don’t dig them out.
