Going to Southern California in a few weeks and want to find D. Ambisotrae, as well as Raphis Multifida.  Has anybody Seen for sale or can help)? I have several of  4’ and 2’ size of the Raphis w multiple offsets, but, I didn’t have much luck taking one offset of them.  They just sulk for way too long.  Or, does anyone have a  a bigger patch of the R, M. that I could get a larger chunk.  I would provide the energy, sawzall (husband for labor), and $. Thank you,

Check in with Joe Palma (Joe D.) for the d. ambositrae.  I got several 5gs from him when I was down in February.

Got some nice 15g ones here in SANTA Barbara, if you are in the area. It’s a great palm!

I have some gallon specimens, too.

I think they'll go to town up north, though be careful if you get frost a lot. They love the cool, that's for sure. Ogle my big one in the shade, plus my other palms.

Joe has gallons as well.  So does Florabunda.  It took me so long to get the gallons to move up, that, Darold took them and put in his greenhouse for a couple of years, to get to the size to plant.  I have four in the ground,  they are in protected areas, but,  they are slow.

How well do they move from the ground?  Cecile

Veri805, can you PM me the specifics, as we are going to ride our bicycles from Carmel to Cambria later in May, depending on the coastal weather.  We sag each other because of the dog, and always make sure we have dinner at Jocko's.  Let me know the specifics.  Thank you. • 3 weeks later...

I got a great plant from Carlos in Santa Barbara (VARI805).  I had my choice of 5 big specimens, and I chose the split one.  He has some very beautiful, well grown palms, check him out for your next palm, so many that I wanted to buy, but, can't grow where I live.
