Chamaedorea tepelote in Guatemala forest with stem roots

Recommended Posts

In northern Guatemala's Petén department, in humid forest at El Ceibal National Park, many of the Chamaedorea tepejilote trees (I think) have roots on stem, and sometime the stems bend to the ground and root, as shown in files. I read in the Flora de Varacruz that this species often has stem roots.190504pp.jpg.441f7dbc6c65005d7be020c4690b4488.jpg
