BTW, for those considering purchasing one or more of these palms, I've found they grow perfectly well in full sun here in interior NorCal and have no problem with winter frosts. I have some I grew from RPS seeds that are now in ground and in pots. Once they're more mature, you should see the bronze color on the undersides of the fronds. Very distinctive! :)

to how many degrees have they resisted?

I would estimate these palms have handled temps. in the mid-20s F for a day or so, on and off this past winter.  They stayed green and didn't yellow like my Livistona decora. Hope my local experience is helpful.

They are frost hardy down to 25F

 

any colder you may see damage but will bounce back

Dang!! almost sold out. What an overwhelming response. Its fun to know all these are getting shipped to colder zones across the country.
