Lots of Aloes blooming in the yard now. Too bag flowers don’t last longer, like some broms. And some more getting ready to bloom.

Love em! Kudos on growing them so well in your climate. I know some of these rot even for us west-coast growers. I have a camerooni x maculata hybrid that blooms all summer long. Rather unusual as most aloes are winter-blooming. Rooikapie also seems to always have flowers on it.

fantastic collection! I'd love to grow some of those over here but the heat and monsoon season can rot some of them here.

I do have a few tree aloes like ferox, marlothii, rupestris, and speciosa that are doing well. I also have a peglerae in a pot that's doing good. One rotted in the summer that was in a more full sun exposure.

Thanks, I've not had problems with the tree aloes rotting, I think becuz here on the beach, Its just pure well draining sand. But I do have problems with the small succulents, they don't like the summer rains, I've rotted lots but do have a few survivors.
