I'm not a huge fan palm junkie so this is not may area of expertise. I got the seed from somewhere as it's from my nursery. The stems are thorn free, a very friendly palm. It's either suckering or some very slow seeds are growing under the largest of the bunch, which is only about a foot tall.

Hmm I have a very tall Thrinax that has seeded, never new which one it was as it was given to me unnamed. Good possibility.
