QUESTION: Majesty Palm (Ravenea rivularis)

I have a question about this palm. I don't have one, but someone I know bought 2 that came from IKEA and were labeled Majesty Palm.

from what I have read online, this palm is SOLITARY. But one of this person's palms is clumping.

Do they sometimes clump? Or is this a mislabeled palm?

If mislabeled, what palm might it be that looks like a young Majesty Palm?

Majesties are solitary. Growers often stick 2-3 in pots to sell as houseplants. Terrible practice as they get huge. If they were mine I would attempt to separate them but I can't recommend that to others because of the risk of one or more dying. Better to buy them as singles in the first place. They are cheap and common as dirt.

Yes, but these seem to be sending shoots out new. Could it be a mis-labeled Cat Palm?

Pictures could be quite helpful in this case.

If they are clustering they aren't majesties. Only photos will solve the mystery
