Some of my palms that I’ve collected. Many of these are not going into the ground as they wouldn’t stand a chance haha. Theyre all a bit rough looking due to neglect and me being away. 

This is a Chamaerops Humilis which I bought from a Maryland Lowe’s as a blue pot. It’s pretty big and I may try it outside but I’m not sure. It may not work out.

These are some sabal palmetto seedlings which I grew for the pure fun of it. They were left outside during a snowstorm and temps into the upper teens. The pot had standing water which froze. Despite this, they’re still kicking. I may plant these in a South-Eastern corner of my house as an experiment, just to see how long they last.

Looking good.  I'd try the palmetto as I plan to as well soon and I'm in 7a.  But I plan on protecting

There are good microclimates in Baltimore that are zone 8a thanks to the lake, shape of the city, and the urban heat island.
